Tick performance Level 2 rebuild
Are Tick Performance rebuilds worth the money?
I have a 1993 T-56 that I bought used form a guy who had it behind a 69 camaro. I think he bought it from the guy who had it in his 93 TA.
I drove my car with it for a few years totaling about 5K miles. I have since ripped the car down again for a full rebuild and am starting to think about what to do about that enigma of a T56.
I don't know its internal condition.
I have read about Tick in the past and they seem to really specialize in T56s so I figured, give them a call.
The website mentions that they don't warranty the 93 model of T56. I asked why and it is because the gears are no longer offered by anyone, so you can get a rebuild, but they can't replace any worn gears.
Anyways, my main question is: Is this worth it for $2099? (rated at 600RWTQ)
Or should I just look around and buy something new? If so, what?
