T5 help please
Ok I made a huge dumb mistake. I mistakingly removed the bolt for 5th and reverse lever instead of my drain/fill plug. I didn't completely remove it but I did unscrew it causing the clip to come off. I have my service manual out and I'm going over how to fix this issue. My question is should I be concerned about anything when I remove the extension housing to access my top plate of the trans.

What service manual do you have? If you don't have the Tremec manual then use this one. http://www.tremec.com/anexos/TRSM-T5-0510-R1_173.pdf
One thing to watch out for is the roll pin that holds the shift block to the shaft. If you drive it out too far it can cause big problems. The ball and spring that go in the block can also be kind of a pain. Getting the block started back on the shaft when putting things back together can also be hard.

I have the Chevrolet service manual. I got it done yesterday morning. I appreciate your reply. Was easier than I expected. Just wanted to double check that nothing would be an issue removing the extension housing. It didn't dis lodge the clip just made the lever pop off at the bottom where it attached for reverse and fifth.
