getting rid of this popup

Every time I come to this site (TGO)this annoying popup blocks my screen (ask a question)

 

Are you logged in? I only see it when I'm not logged into the forum.

That's the same idiotic pop-up that is causing all the off-topic threads around here.

 

I get various redirects at times, always on the mobile site, usually logged in, and I've either "won money" or "have a virus" according to the message it gives. Then, if I try to get around it it locks my browser and I have to close the browser (not just exit out) before it goes away. It also, at times, turns on my phone's vibration or beeps and buzzes as if the world is going to end.
IF that is what's happening, JT has always fixed it for me if I just send him a screenshot of the popup message, the redirect website, and copy the URL it redirected me to. JT has always fixed it for me when I can provide that information. The problem will still happen, but it will be a different thing the next time. I think JT is blocking the offenders as they happen and just needs to be notified of them.

Why do I get logged out every 5 -10 minutes, it seems?

 

If you're on your phone, use google chrome as the browser when on thirdgen. It's a lot less problematic than the other browsers.

I really think its time thirdgen gets it's own mobile app.
