Hi all, I bought an aluminum drive shaft for my 85 z28 a few years ago and the bearing in the tailshaft went out. It wore a groove into the yoke and tranny fluid will spit out on acceleration. I put the original steel shaft back on after changing my the bearing and now I'm wondering if I can take the yoke off the original shaft and put it on the aluminum one. The original has the clips on the inside of the u joint and the aluminum has the clips on the outside of the u joint. There is a stamp I found that says "spicer" on the aluminum drive shaft.
