Guys, i'm doing an LS swap. i have a tremec tko 600 i would like to add a hydraulic throwout bearing to it. not sure if the stock master would work? i see the 4th gen setup has a braided hose down to the slave, do these bolt in to our cars?

4th gen firewalls are by and large the same except the 5th bolt is located a bit off.
3rd Gen pedals have the master cylinder stud lower, which gives more throw.
There are aftermarket ways of changing from stock 3/4" to larger master cyl. bore and the third gen pedals should give more stroke. But going from 86 to 02 is 3/4 to 3/4. I could be off but maybe LT1 years were 13/16".

Works for me. I use the stock master cylinder with a Ram hydraulic TO bearing part # 78125. I tapped the MC and put an adapter fitting on it, I run AN line from the MC to the TO bearing. I also use the Ram hydraulic pedal adjuster, makes adjusting the release point possible.

My 6 speed is from an lt1 car. I got a master cylinder for a 95 Z and it bolted right in. Don't see why a stock ls car replacement wouldn't work?

cool, thanks guys

i had some weird issue with this stock replacement master one day my pedal fell to the floor no clutch... checked the fluid it was full. after a while it worked again but it doesn't release well...

i was thinking about going with the 4th gen style with the braided line and running a quarter master hydraulic throwout bearing on an LS7 clutch kit
