Now lets just remember I am used to 2.73 rear in my car

I got my 4th gen 3.42 rear installed today, havent G-teched it yet but rite off the line and durring acceleration I dont notice much more G force, just spinds more and pulls longer

I always thought 2.73's were better at high speeds, but tonight on the highway made me feel like I used to be standing still, this thing freakin does 60-100 in the time my old rear did 80-100.

The whole ride of my car feels smoother, braking is better.

I was coming up a steap hill probobly 4 or 5 hundred yards long, softly floored it at the bottom and pulled from like 2 grand up to about 5 grand and went from 50-100 in same gear I was in at the bottom of the hill.

Is this performance increase normal, are 2.73's really that bad and 3.42's really that good

Like I said, it doesnt pull much harder, just spins more, and pulls longer, but my car is hella faster, I wanna G-tech it just for an idea though

...maybe it pulls harder I dont know, I have a thing that I dont notice power when I am in the drivers seat, my girlfriend said its quicker

I didnt change the gears, but I do know that Im just going by "about" speeds, nothing precise here. going by speedometer it was probobly like 100-120 in the end.

I jumped up from 2.73's a month ago to a 3.42 gear with a power trax locker. Big difference all around, Im sure the top speed is reduced (havent pushed it) I know highway rpm is up there.
