Hey all, i just posted my old 9 bolt open diff 3.08 on the local buy and sell website (Kijiji) and I have a guy interested in buying it for his iroc, if i can put in his new carrier with 3.42 gear set in for him. Can i simply take out the old series 2 open diff and swap it for his new series 3 carrier (auburn posi unit) ?? I know i would have to set up pinoin depth and backlash and all that, i have done it before changing ring and pinions. Just never changed from series 2 to series 3.
