Is a 3200 vigilante too much
I know someone selling a new PI converter with a stall of 3200 for $440. I have done the following mods, cam 224/230 duration @ 50'', .502/.510 lift, headers, 3.42 gears, nitrous. My current best 60 ft time is 2.01 on street tires with stock converter and without nos. Do you guys think its too much stall for my car?

You must be installing this torque converter & not selling it? It is a little on the high side, but depending on what style of driving you do, it might/could work out fine. As long as you retain lockup, it should be ok.

This converter will be just about right for your combo. You should see at least .2 sec improvement in 60ft times and et as long as you have good traction. Be sure the converter is locked up while
in overdrive. The extra torque multiplication could strain the OD
otherwise.
