Wide rear sun gear bushing problem?
So I installed the " Sonnax 77010-01 Wide rear sun gear bushing" like Dana from Pro Built recommended. I assembled and then disassembled to double check my work and noticed the bushing is all scored up and there is a lot of resistance when I slide it into the ring gear hub. I remember reading something about it being a real tight fit on some models. I think I might have got the wrong one. The ring gear hub journal is fine, still looks great but the bushing is scored like hell. Does anyone know the part no. for the correct bushing.? Size on this one is; Housing bore: 1.706, Shaft diameter:1.575. Width:0.600.

Re: Wide rear sun gear bushing problem?
Can I go with the .375" one ? Will I have a problem if I go with this one? On the sonnax site it says for the wide .600 bushing "
My 4l60 is a 92 model v6 off a firebird. Will I have to buy another sun gear or what.
May not work in some late-production sun gears with OE finish-in-place bushings.
