is it possible to use a ls7 flywheel and clutch on a t56 swap
hey guys I own a 09 z06 corvette and a 88 iroc 350 with an auto trans and I was thinking I really love the clutch and flywheel in my corvette. is there any way I can use a ls7 flywheel and clutch when I do my t56 swap? The doner car is a 96 fbody. I'm not doing the work myself because I'm not mechanically inclined and I have no real place to work on a project of this magnitude so if this is some crazy idea please try not to roast me too hard. Thanks

The design of the 93-97 LT1 Camaro flywheel and "pull" clutch is very different from the 97-04 LS1 clutch or the later LS2 stuff. The LT1 T56 swap thread stickied in this forum might be a good read for you.
If you have everything 1996 to swap into a 1988, just stick with that. If needed, buy a new clutch or flywheel for a 1996. It works, the clutches and flywheels are available and affordable.
