bell housing bolts alway coming loose
I istalled a shift kit a few years back, and a friend of mine told me to watch the bell housing bolts that with the shift kits they eventually cause the bolts to come loose on the bell housing, I found this out first hand on a different car before this and never knew why it happened and only found out too late when the flex plate broke due to missalignment. Well I just rebuilt the motor in the monte a year and a half ago and everything was fine, well last wkndI heard this tick noise and found the bottom 2 bolts missing and the next 2 up loose and not sure abou the rest I dont want to use loc tite and have used lock washers but no luck, anyone have any ideas pointers or anything else I can or should do?
thanks

Get longer dowel pins made for your block. They may not be
into your tranny case far enough, or the holes in your case could
fit loosely on your pins. This may not fix it, but it is worth a try
and it doesn't cost a lot in cash or work.
