Is this flywheel to far gone? This came out of a 97 LT1 Camaro. I am in the process of swapping a T56 in my 91 Camaro. If this one is to far gone what do you recommend for a replacement?

You have to measure the thickness to know whether it can be resurfaced. Looks like it hasn't been ground though, I would say it is probably usable. If it's a stock-ish rebuild I have gotten away with just using the DA sander on the surface to knock the glaze off and give the new disc something to grab, no ideal, but it works.

Resurface it. Should be just fine. And lighter. Don't be the guy that doesn't resurface his flywheel. That looks pretty burnt and will probably have hot spots. Needs surfacing for sure.

Yup, have it surfaced and thickness checked

If you're installing a new disc with a freshly machined (or new) pressure plate, you need to resurface it.

If it is from a donor car that was known to run and drive, and you're reusing the clutch, don't resurface it.
