Car: One owner '88 IROC 50k

Engine: L98 with bolt ons.

Transmission: T56

Axle/Gears: 3:42 again

Question for T56 experts

The thrust Washer #108 does it go with the open end of the cup facing the countershaft or does the open end face the countershaft extension?

Open side (visible in the picture in your post) goes towards the countershaft to encircle the drive teeth.

that's what I thought but was not sure since the phone I used to take photos when dissembling it died...
Now that I have the parts it's ready to go back together this weekend.
