Torque Convertor

I remember a post about putting an S-10 4cyl torque convertor in a 700R4. Supposedly it will have a higher stall than stock. Will this work on a 305 with more than stock power? Im kinda skeptical. My engine is out of the car and I wasn't considering a higher stall convertor but my friend has one lying around. Will it last, or even work at all?

4 cyl? No

The converter in question is for a '95 4.3L. This looks the same as the regular V-8 converter whereas what I believe you are talking about, it is completely different (much smaller and has a different spline setup and hub).
