It bolts right in if you're me.
But you're not me.

Now seriously, the answer has been the same since the '97 Corvette transaxles came out.
You'd have to completely rebuild the T56 or TR6060 transaxle with stock (F-body, GTO, Magnum) parts to fit as a transmission. There are no stock parts to build a TR6070 into a transmission assembly.

Realistically, the gearing of the TR6070 is very overdrive-heavy. This is okay with the Vette. It's a lighter vehicle for one. The tall overdrive works with a lot of rear gear. But when it comes to gearing in the 4.xx range, you start to get into driveline speed and vibration issues. The Vette has no driveline to run at high speed or create vibration issues.

Currently, the T56 Magnum makes a lot of sense for a trans. that fits the third-gen well, has good shifter position, can suit bellhousings available to mate to an LS or a SBC, and is new, instead of a T56 that needs bought, rebuilt, and retrofit.

after reading up on the TR6070 a bit more I had no idea it had 3 overdrives. I thought at first it had 6 power gears and one overdrive and after reading up on the gearing its not even worth the trouble I wanted more power gears than what the super t 10 had but I think I'll just stick with the 4 speed thanks
