Clutch adjustment
Hey guys, I have a 87 z28 5 speed and i'm having some issues with the clutch. I just recently had a brand new clutch put on the car but the bite point is still fairly high up and I do not have much play in the clutch. Is there any way to adjust the clutch and fix this issue? Thank you.

Re: Clutch adjustment
Clutch is hydraulic. No point on it to adjust, even at the pedal. You might have air in the line though it doesn't sound like it from your description

Re: Clutch adjustment
Sounds to me like it's working perfect.
The clutch is automatically adjusting, and has found its point of PERFECTION. No further improvement can be made. It's RIGHT.
I'm reminded of back in teh 90s when my late little bro was working as service writer at a Buick dealer, and some blue-hairs brought their Roadmonster in because they had taken it on a road trip and got like 31 miles per gallon whereas "book" said it should get 28 mpg. They were afraid something was wrong with it. He resisted the temptation to slap them, and merely sent them home. Same deal here: your clutch works RIGHT, all you've ever experienced was EFFFFED UP ones, and you don't know what to make of it.
Enjoy it while it lasts. May that be for many years to come.
