LM7 T56 What Clutch?
LM7 T56 What Clutch?
I have an 89 GTA, planning on mating a T56 and LM7 together. Car was auto, which clutch kit do I need? Trans and motor are mated so no bell housing. Its my first swap so go easy on me lol.
Any advice is appreciated thank you!

Re: LM7 T56 What Clutch?
If you know how to drive and are going to drive it as a daily, an LS1/LS6 flat flywheel or LS2/LS7 sunken flywheel style is fine for a daily. If you want to slip it a lot, use the clutch to shock the tires, and abuse it some, look at a disc material upgrade. You can get reliability at the expense of pressure plate / flywheel wear.

An stock LS7 clutch goes a long way. Has the OEM feel, reasonably priced, but strong enough if you add more power to the 5.3.
