Is anyone running a ACT convertor?

I would like to hear from people with this convertor. I will be making a purchace soon and I can't decide which brand to go with. Right now ACT, Precision, ands Yank are in the running. I have had experencise with Precision and Yank but the price of the ACT looks good. Any help is appreciated.

I got the 9.5 inch 2800 stall ACT converter when I bought my pro built tranny. I like the converter,it stalls perfect and is very good on the street. They offer the one time stall speed change for free, and Dana at pro built seems to like them. That was my biggest reason with going with it,I pretty much did whathe recommended. So far I have no complaints with it.

How many miles do you have on your combo? That is the combo I am going to buy in a month or so from Pro-built too.

What kind of power are you running as well?

Thanks!

I don't have any numbers on my car as far as power goes,( and I don't like to speculate on it)but I went through a B&M and a TCI tranny with in about 8 mounths before I went with a pro-built. This is a pretty damn stout set up and I have about 5k hard miles on it without a problem yet. As long as Dana is building trannys I will never look anyware else for a automatic.

Is this telling me that only one person has the ACT convertor? I was expecting more replies than this. This is a big purchace and I would like to hear from at least a few people with an ACT.
Superman, thanks so much for your reply.

ACT is a pretty new company, and I have not heard of a lot of people on here having this converter. I myself had all intentions of getting a Vigilante, but after talking to Dana I decided to go with the ACT. Its a real nice converter that works perfectly.
