Edmonton Area Automatic Rebuilders
Does anyone know of a reputable racing automatic transmission rebuilder in or around the Edmonton area?
I've got a 4L60 that bit the dust. It's full of some really good parts that should be salvageable but the guy I've got it with isn't a racing specialist and he's also not great at communicating.
I had what I thought would be my transmission for the foreseeable future but after 8000 kms of no racing, I found a transmission pan full of clutch material and metal.
I haven't been to the track since 2015 and consequently am seriously out of touch with the racing community.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I'm going to give this guy another month. He's offered to take the transmission apart, determine what's good to keep (servos, valves, planetaries would have survived I think) follow the spec sheet and put it all in a together with a different core.
