G-Force T5 Case question

Hello, I've recently started rebuilding a t5 into a g-force case. There is a threaded hole on the driver's side that has me stumped. It's not on the stock case and I'm unsure what exactly this hole is for and whether or not I should just plug it. Hopefully someone with a little more t5 wisdom than me can shed some light on this as I haven't been able to find any info about this online. I'll attach a picture of the hole with it circled.

Thank you.

Re: G-Force T5 Case question

Maybe for an aftermarket temp sensor or just needs a plug?
Did it come with any instructions or anything on their website about it?
