Posi Question

Hey guys I came across this Torsen zexel diff -3.42 gears,Note:that it didn’t come with the pinion.

I have A 87 3rd gen 7.5

My question is can I put my stock gears from the 87 diff onto the new Posi Diff I retrieved from a 98 Camaro to work with my stock pinion?

Thanks

Re: Posi Question

If your existing gears are lower ratio than 3.23, it won't work.

You can buy new axles for $250 - 300. You need them anyway; they're always wore out whether you know it or not, or think so or not. Don't bother with used stock ones: they're wore out too, just like yours.
