4l80e swap cooler fitting

can you use something like the earls fittings and put an an 90 to them?

or do you need something like these banjo fittings to fit between the trans and tunnel?

Re: 4l80e swap cooler fitting

i used the second version on my 4L80E. it takes up less space in the tunnel and fits better. i connected 30 or 45 degree AN fittings to those to get the hoses routed away from the transmission. i just looked through my pictures and don't have any showing these installed but can take some if you want me to.

I've got just enough room for 90* fittings on my cooler hoses. I didn't want to take the chance the banjo fittings wouldn't flow enough fluid
