Speedometer Question
I am trying to get my spdo to work correctly.
I swapped my auto to a 5-speed. The spdo is cable driven. I don't know what the gear is in the tailhousing. I was thinking of using a electric sending unit and a Dakota Digital box with a new gauge cluster that has a electronic spdo. I think if I get an electrical signal from the tranny I can use the Dakota box to input the correct signal into the spdo. I will use a buffer box also. Has anyone tried this? Will it work? The car is an 85 T/A with a 350.
