help with ?????
ok i pulled off the cover no my shifter handle {700 r4}
and the cable farthest to the right that connects to the shifter has a broken mount and just kinda slides back and forth does anyone know what this controls or what it does and

IF it's the cable i think your talking about it is the park lock cable. this contols the steering column lock. it must be fully in to be able to remove your key. you should fix this because it is possible to lock the steering column at any time, like when your driving... wouldnt be pretty.
