i have looked at a 10 Bolt disc rear out of a 84' WS6 5 Speed. i have written down from what i could read was.... 6HS/5? C205 1 anyone have a clue what gears these cars came with from the factory. i was thinking as long it's a 3 series rear i can change the gears. i can also remove those old stlye calipers and replace them with the pbr ones. i would need to buy the 89+ , 10 bolt backing plates for the rear right? well thanks for the help.

 

just pop off the diff cover and it should be stamped on the ring gear. also if u turn your wheels one full turn your drive shaft will trun say 3.73 times if u have 3.73 gears. u knoe wut i mean
