Axel codes and ratios?

What ratio does code "G 92" stand for? This means "performance ratio", whatever one that is. Thanks. Also, what does "G80" stand for. Posi-traction?Thanks in advance!!

G80 = Limited Slip Differential (posi)

G92 was used for a few different things over the years but most of the time GM used it for gear ratios of 3.08

You should have a RPO code for the specific ratio.

rear gears RPOs
3.45 ratio = GM3
3.08 ratio = GU4
3.42 ratio = GU6
3.27 ratio = GW6
Limited Slip = G80
Performance ratio code = G92
