Can I put a V8 T5 up to a BOP engine pattern? I've got a pontiac engine and want to know. What do I need if I even can?

Take care,
Jon

I don't believe so. Pontiac and Olds, and I believe Buicks all use the same bolt pattern on the transmission. Chevy is GM's odd ball.

You would need a motor plate, to adapt the Chevy bell housing to the BOP motor pattern. Pretty straightforward actually.

I'd bet that T5 won't handle the torque of a pontiac engine unless it's a 350 or 326. A 400 or 455 will destroy it pretty quick.
