IROC 5-spds?

did they make IROC's with manual gearboxes? if so.. what's the name of the 5 spd they used... i have a 87' Camaro with a V6 and a 5-spd, would this be good enough to put behind my 305 TPI?

Of course they had Irocs with 5 speeds, only 305's though. as far as puttin the 6cyl trans in on a v8 i wouldnt do it

The V6 T5 isn't worth the trouble. You'd have to use a smaller clutch and I think it might be weaker.
