I need help finding out what kind of rear is in my car.I have an 86 T/A.The previous owner had swapped in a rear.It's supposed to be a 1996 rear from a Ram Air T/A.I don't know if it was a 6 speed rear or a slushbox rear.I just need to know where the rear would be stamped so I can i.d. the gears in it.I would like my speedo to work right.I'm going to use a 700R4 from my 84 T/A that had 3.23's in it.I'm not sure what gears they used in 96 rears.
