precision or richmond gears?

I went to a tranny/drivetrain shop to order some richmond gears. At the shop they also had precision gears. I asked and the employee said that the precisions were less money and had less whine than the other gears. Has anybody ever heard of Richmond and if so are they equal or better than richmonds?
thanx a lot.

I like my Richmond, they don't whine at all, if they're installed properly.
