this is blown, right?
I was driving on the highway and all of the sudden it just revved up like i was in neutral. I figured, no big deal, i blew out my 2-3 clutches before and still had 1st and 2nd so i slowed down and put it in D. same result, so i slowed down more and put it in 2nd, same result. so i drove home in 1st gear. took me about an hour going 10 mph with 3.73's. The other really weird thing is that the fluid is still pink and doesnt stink at all. Its not that big of a deal to me, i can pull it out and have ATI rebuild it race ready for $300. Its just that i wont havea car for a few days.

I know how you feel sort of, when I installed the Megashifter, my Dad and I did something not right and the cable came loose, my car was stuck in 1st, I had to drive about 2 miles in 1st gear, that was so embarrassing. But I had 2:73s at the time.

Is ATI some place around there or can you send transmission to it? It'll cost me about $900 to $1000 to get my transmission rebuilt around here, and that's just a normal rebuild. I'd like to get it fixed for about $300. Any ideas?

Im not really sure about if they are only located around here or not. I do know that their price for a rebuild is $300...it costs more if you need "hard" parts. They built the th400 in my freinds racecar. it runs 9.0x and the trans has been in there for 9 years. ill try to get some info for ya
