Anyone with experience with C-Clip Eliminators please look inside...

I recently heard a rumor that c-clip eliminators used on a daily driven car will cause the rear end to leak fluid. Has anyone ever had a problem with c-clip eliminators causing the rear end to leak? I'm trying to find out if this is true or not before I help my friend put them on his rear end. Thanks in advance.
