can i put these posi gears in my car?

hey guys. i found a set of 3.23 posi gears on ebay and was wondering if they would be a direct fit into my NON- posi 10 bolt rear? if so, would it be worth it to have the pose? now i have a stock 2.73 rear

there is no such thing as posi gears. the gears don't care what sort of carrier they get bolted to, if you have open rear now you'll still have it after the gear swap. what series are the gears and what series carrier do you have that's the big question.

It looks like an auburn posi to me. 26 spline axles, you should have 28 spline axles in 90. 28 spline axles are larger in diameter than 26 so you would be down grading. You would have to get some 26 spline axles to make these work. But 26 spline axles are easy to come by, if that's what you want to do.
