will the 3" aluminum LS! driveshaft fit on a 3rd gen? i assume it will, but i was wondering if it was stronger than the 1LE aluminum shaft im using now? would it be worth it to swap the 1LE shaft for a LS1 shaft? input?

NO! Keep the 1LE Dr Shaft, its lighter in weight and stronger then the LS1 Dr Shaft.
