fuse/fuel pump question

Ok..so I go to replace my fuel filter, carefully reading Haynes beforehand, and then get stuck right off the bat...according to Haynes, I am supposed to relieve the pressure in the system by pulling the fuel pump fuse (identified by letters FP) and letting the car run until it dies. Well, looking at the fuse box the only thing that looks like it should be the right one (labelled F/P-CLTR) has no fuse in it!! So is Haynes mistaken or is my car?? Or am I on the wrong track altogether? If so how do I relieve the pressure?

I'm not totally sure as I dont own an f-body but I believe you guys have your fuel pump fuse under the hood on the passenger side by the air box on a connector mounted on the fender

Otherwise, I just removed the fuel cap, undid the filter fitting, and let the fuel trickle out until it stopped, and then changed the filter. Do a search on this message board for "relieve fuel pressure", you should find a few messages pertaining to it.
