WOW you got a lot of mods......any idea of what you run in the 1/4??

all i can think of is that you transfer everything over to a 3.4 longblock and port the heads.....................the longblock will cost about $1600 brand new......so its a little pricey..............i'd also say some nice 3.73 gears........those should help alot

Your mods (especially the cam) has increase the top-end, but at the expense of the low-end torque. 3.73s would help but not much since you already have 3.42s. You would need 4.11s before you would probalby notice the effects of a gear change. I would reommend looking at a higher stall convertor since you have an automatic. Maybe around 2,600-3,000 as V6s are higher revving motors than V8s.

are you spinning at all? if not i'd start with getting rid of the power robbers by getting the UD pulley/s and aluminum DS. if traction is a problem, i'd get LSD and ES t/a bushing. getting into the expensive side, high stall TC is also good but you have to have traction.

Rebuild your distributor
Add new internal (electrics, too)
New coil
REPAIR ANY/EVERY VACCUM HOSE DAMAGE
Have you changed timing chain yet?
You do these non fancy looking things and you'll be searching for ways to get traction!

I LOVE the shiftkit ! ... Lately I have not been able to totally enjoy b/c my fuelpump is on the way out . But yeah , it chirps into second . Sometimes If i just take off a little hard , but not to hard , it will chirp slightly on blacktop ! It will chirp on regular non-blacktoped but I have to take off harder .

You would be surprised what a rebuilt distributor can do to your car, you really will enjoy that mod man it smoothed out the idle majorly a lot easier to start, and with the right compontents can even give you a better spark than stock talk to Ked85 or search the threads to find his post about doing the rebuild

2300-2500 TCI stall converter or dump the 700r4 for a T-5 T-56

The converter should help out big time, let you launch like a stick without one. But when it comes to a v6. a stick is much much better at getting the power to the wheels.

if it was a 350 or larger then it is possiable for a good tuned auto to be better than a stick but under 200hp an auto tranny sucks up critical power.
