It would be a really good deal if I didn't live in Hawaii.

It cost like 30 bucks, just for shipping.

Oh well

Even my $60 (from 10-15 years ago) analog meter has a few fuses in it. 'Fact, I'm 99% sure that this Sunpro one has a fuse, too. I didn't really read the owners manual too carefully on it. I'm actually surprised they still have the meters! When did I tell you guys about that? I told the General Tech board a few days later- I figured with all the people on that board, they would've bought out their whole stock!

I also picked up the fuel injector tester; thing looks great! It has separate sets of injector connectors, since it can check most any injector. Know how they connect to the main test leads? Via a 4-pin molex connector, the exact same one that a PC would use for the power to it's floppy/cdrom/hard drives! And this time, I got a box for it.

Actually , my bud Tom found it . I made a thread on here asking about a good multimeter and he knew about there Garage sale page and went and found it ! If I would have never said anything about needing a multimeter , I dont think Tom would have ever found it !

Tom , I've been thinking of ordering that injector tester also . Yeah I know I have new injectors , but I KNOW I will have another used camaro and will want to test my injectors .

Yeah , I just knew all those meters would be gone to Tom , I was surprised when I went and found them still there . I think Karl said something about needing a new one , and I thought Id go check to see if they had any left .

If you go back, pick up their sensor tester. It checks MAF and MAP sensors! I ran it on my dad's former '88 Olds 2.8 MPFI, and it pointed us to a bad MAP. Damn handy thing to have; especially considering how often our MAF sensors take a crap.

(Yes, '88 2.8 Olds should've had MAF, but a dealership converted it to speed density with a MAP sensor, a MAF bypass, and a special computer chip.)

It is, but the problem is, the MAF sensor is delicate, and can break. And, you get enough people complaining about the problem of replacing a $300 MAF (from GM, since they don't know where else to go, and chances are, they're not installing it themselves anyway!), and GM decided to release a technical service bulletin. Instead of a recall, a TSB gives directions to a mechanic on how to fix a common problem. So whoever owned the car before my dad did probably ran into the bad maf, and $300 bill- and chose the cheaper route of a new MAP sensor and new computer chip.

The car had a silver sticker on the driver's side shock tower; something like "chip replaced, see bulletin number #### for details". If we still had the car I'd go get the bulletin number...

I just picked it up ...I will go back later and get the injector tester . But I figure I will have MAF sensor trouble before I will injector trouble , so I decided to order that first , plus I think it test other sensors to !
