this guy is selling a 70's chevelle, it has a new 350 in it rebuilt, with 40k miles on it, rebuilt turbo 350 trans 3 speed, shiftkit, new guages, headers, new dual flowmasters, new cragar ss rims, new tires. rear are 10inch tires, a spare set of tires/rims for street, new holley 650 carb, comes with a new fibergalss extra hood.
now for tha bad parts. the front seat kinda moves back and forth, rear quarter panels have rust holes in them (soda can size) paint is shiny in msost spots , but it dull in the 1/4 pannels...
he is selling it for 1k, i think the original 307 had 150k miles on it till he put the 350 in and rebuilt the trans.
he has been trying to sell it for a long time. he said he has to sell it cuz he had a baby, and his wife is making him get rid of it.
i can pay him 1k but will offer 900bucks or less, u think its worth it?

sounds like a good deal
just make sure there isnt more rust that you dont know about
it looks like you prolly already understand that your going to need a paintjob soon
and something to be done about the rusting out of the quarterpanels...............that can prolly get pretty hairy
sounds like you can handle everything else yourself
so, if you can afford to have the paint and rust taken care of, i'd say go for it

After my v6 bird, i bought a 72 chevelle 355 700r4 etc.. a few thigns u want to watch for.. Bring a magnet. Check the body. If u get in an accidetn u dont want the body falling apart. These things are VERY HEAVY, so they will be slow even tho they have a 350. If they had the 454 they'd be pretty quick. Chevelle's that arent stock do tend to loose value. Personally, im going to look for an earlier chevelle as they are nicer and arent as heavy (65-68)
