Best Performance Parts

It seems to me that all of the upgrades needed to run a turbo or s/c are the same things that people upgrade just to gain a little better performance. So I figure I'll go ahead and do the necessary upgrades, and when that's done, if I still have the interest and the money to pursue a turbo setup, then I will. If not, I figure replace my stock components with aftermarket ones certainly won't hurt. So what I need to know is what is the best ignition and fuel system components? I was thinking along the lines of accel wires and coil. Also bigger injectors, would that mean I'd need a new fuel rail? And should I try and replace the stock fuel pump with a higher output one, or can I add a second inline pump? Sorry for all the questions, but I don't want to buy the wrong stuff. Thanks, Joe

Go with a new coil, and 8-8.5mm wires, accel, msd, taylor, something like that. Power crank, cold air intake. Maybe some headers if CHC will still make a set. That should get you started.

I can't do the headers unless/until they are carb certified. Thanks, for the response. Anyone else have any advice for/against accel ignition?

Would I be o.k. running just the accel 8mm superstock wires, or is it better to go to like the 8.8mm. I know bigger is better, but I'm wondering if it's worth the added cost.

I would stick with the 8mm, make sure you get a accel super coil or something so that its not a waist of money, I have on along with stock wires and I do not think they can handel the coil.
