Sounds like you broke something internally and you need a new engine .

could be all, don't drive any more, get your engine checked by a mechanic before you kill it totally.

Check your coolant for oil (and look for oil in the radiator); that would mean you blew the head gasket. But yeah, don't drive it anymore, or you could make it worse-- and next time don't keep driving, pull over!! Let us know how it goes... and think about Karl's (KED85's) 3.4 Swap Boogie to save $$ ...

[Cough] Dura Lube [Cough]
[Cough] Dura Lube [Cough]

I drove 10+ miles in my 68 ford galaxi 500 with no water or fan belt. 3-4 of them on the e-way. long as I was doing over 35 the valves would not tick. I only stoped once cause traffic was back up at a stop sign.

Everyone swore I toasted the engine, Nope Dura Lube saved the day. I had two bottles in that car. After adding the second bottle it was soo smooth. oh and it saved me from blowing an engine.

When that stuff first came out I was a believer. They use to put a glass pan on an 3.5 briggs lawnmower engine and run it the whole lenth of the infomercial.

going to school for small engines; I will tell you them lawn mower engine will not last 5 mins without any oil.
