Yep that's the unit I have.
Mine has a cable going to the trunk lock, too.
I also obtained a trunk release that goes on the end/back of the lock mechanism.
So I scored a trunk pull down?
From an 87 Berlinetta that I score an interior from (not seat, tho).

There are 2 different power locks. I don't know which years or models they varied or started.

Any other 1985 model year cars have this power pull down?
Was this an individual option
or part of a "package option"?
Can this be combined with power trunk release?

I all I know for sure is that the power hatch was standard 87-92 and the power trunk release came standard on TAs and GTAs with it being an option for all other models. Of course like with any optional parts that came standard, you could have ordered it as deletion for a credit on the the purchase of the car.

Seems like I need do some wiring then.
My 1985 probably won't have this wiring harness back there.
The units hook up by two bolts, that easy.
I need swap lock cylinders too

Probably when we pull them in Dec. for the ticking... might as well replace them with nicer ones painted to match the car. Who's the guy that did that on here, painted them teal... nice job!
Dude, I got my Fiero valve covers from the yard in Sunland. I always see plenty of Fieros there.

You do know there are 2 yards in Sunland within about 8 blocks
of each other right?

Eh, you know what I mean. I was only talking about the big pick-a-part style yards....not counting Memory Lane and whatever else I don't know about.

Got the papers...good. Still trying to get the GM parts disk........

I think someone needs to visit a swap meet!

I happen to have had a need to drive around those wreking yard streets yesterday.
So many LESS than even five-ten years ago.
I've learned to visit further outta area & town & even ones in East LA.
The stuff I used to be able to score!
THANKFUL on what I still can score!

Yea, there are many, many salvage yards in sun valley, look at all of them and youd be surprised what you find. I got formula wheels, t/a hood and 2 doors for 150 bucks..! :lala: a lot of them just have misc. parts laying around the lots and they dont know how much to charge.

Lonsal,

Reason I said that is cause I ordered one from ya couple months ago, full unit like that. Just trying to have some fun in my boring days at work.

Unit needs to be adjusted on car again, but working great, and quiet as a m/f, Can't even here it run, I have to watch.

But yes, mine looks exactly like that

JD, Nope. Look closer. This is what yours looks like.

Yours has the new and improved motor design. Double "D" shaped motor with a bronze bushing supporting the end of teh worm-drive shaft. You've got 10 months left on your warranty. I've got your old one hanging on my wall in the shop.

Ahh, look quite close. I couldn't rem which was the newer motor. Still working good though. Just need to get another half decent day to go adjust it.

Thanks for comment on the truck.
