Quick CHC_Header question
anyone have any pics of the headers, and the logs next to each other? I'm wondering if the headers are shortys like the log setup, or long tubes... thx

I see.. something a little longer than a shorty style, then. Just how much longer, though? I could really use a pic of one, just lying on its side... anyone?

Shorty headers extend down to about the "oil pan level" of motor in car.
CHC headers (RIP!) are full length headers utilizing the torque-gain tube style.
I SAY
"Shorty headers are a compromise of engine bay & (these days) emission needs.
What I mean is the the CC are "lit up or heated/chemical activated quicker" as they are mounted right after the exhaust manifolds.
Examples are the later 80/90's Corvette engines I'm aware of. Not sure on F body.
CHC style exhaust headers (RIP!) are built the correct way.
The older style headers make most HP power & torque gains over the "shorty" design.
