am i going to the imports?
i got an 85 bird that didnt have a rear spoiler, simple i got one off an 85 z28 but now that its been on there it looks so small so i am custom making a spoiler off of an 81 z28 fit(the huge spoiler) so far so good but im starting to think an aluminum double decker import wing would look pretty good. i do think the one from the 81 will give it a real custom look. am i the first to do this or has someone mounted one like im talking about already. if so can i see pics or get advice on how to do it as for the import wing i think it would look mean but the line to kick my *** starts to the left!!!!!! email pics or advice to me at iroczbirdbuilder@aol.com
thanks
thanks

Id go with the 81 spoiler . I have seen a few 4th gens down here with the double decker ( civic style) looking spoilers on them . They dont look good , but thats just my oppinion . I think camaro/firebird parts should stay on camaro/firebirds . Keep the double decker wings for the ricers , I mean inports

There was a guy on these board who was sporting a 2nd generation spoiler on his trans am, and it looked very nice, he also had used 2nd generation fender flares, took some customizing if i remember, but in the end, the look was very classic firebird, and melded well with the body....As far as some double decker spoiler i'd say no. There are even some 4th gen camaro's running around here that i've seen w/ this highrise ***** looking rounded off wing that sticks about eh, a foot above the rear deck, looks horrible in my opinion, but apparently others think differently. Personally, i'm adding the 4th gen trans am spoiler, think that should work out very very nice.

You want something different, anyone seen the hatch they make for the vette. makes it look like it has a little truck cap on the back but it has style and a nice spiloer on top. it has to really work being up in the air stream.
it was an older vette though, 70s body style.
I saw it tongiht, thinking about going back to take a snap shot but Im sure its nothing new. but the vette looked good still, just a bunch more room in the back.
