Probably not. The buzzing could be your fuel pump priming

Is there spark?

Is the proper amount of fuel getting to the motor?

Is it cranking but no start, or won't it even crank?

Pull the code by grounding the A and B terminals on the ALDL Connector. Go to the mian page of thirdgen.orgto see how todo this. Let us know what the code is.

What do you mean by the Fuel pump kept running. If it kept running long enough wouldn't it just flood your car, then pump till it burnt itself out or blew up?
