Speedo Cable going into Trany leak.

Speedo Cable going into Trany leak.

Ive got Leaky Seal here. Anyone know where on the Trany this thing is at?

Transmission: 200C 3 speed, 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.08, 3.42
The speedo cable goes into a housing that bolts to the trans and has a large O-ring around it. Over time the plastic housing deteriorates and fluid seeps past the oring as well as the housing. GM sell new housings (now made of aluminum) for a whopping 60 bucks. The O-ring costs about $2

This isnt to hard to do is it? I wont have to Drop the Cross Member or trany? or anything like that? Still havent looked for it yet as im at work and when i get off it will be dark out :O( But im going to change the fluid and this seal on monday. I figured it ask where it is so i know what to look for when i get down under,

Not hard but be prepared for more tranny fluid to come out when you remove the housing.
