ok all im back!!!!!!!!!

ok well heres the stats on my camaro, 1987 camaro 2.8L V-6 auto trans (need to figure out if its a 700r-4 or not) got t-tops an some front end damage also got me a better job so i have a BIT more cash now! wooooohooooo
anyways im gunna do a swap on her an some custom work too
going to toss in a 93' series 1 3.8L from a FWD car and yes it realy does bolt right into the 60 degree bellhousings i triple checked! the motor i picked out has 65000 miles and is from a rear ended bonneville from 1993 its all there wiring comp EVERYTHING including the radiator so im set for all that stuff. also like i said my camaro's got some front end damage and i was eye ballin a 80's firebird and REALY like there front ends a LOT better than the camaro's so what all will i need? fenders hood headlights i know but what else? the motor will remain mostly stock aside from maybe a cold air intake and a higher flowing exhaust system (and yes im gunna check out my fuel air mixture level to make sure its gunna perform the best it can) possibly down the line once i get some more money saved up ill toss in a slightly modd'd 3800 SC motor too. maybe...
anyways anyone know whats needed to change the front end over to a firebird/trans am also LOVE the T/A's rear wrap around wing will that fit to?

From what I understsand, you cant swap a bird frontend on a camaro unibody. The birds front end slopes down more and that whole front section is shapped differently.

Good luck on engine swap, I now know the feeling of trying to install something that wasn't designed to be their.

You said the bellhousing will bolt up, but what about the starter ? (Its on the wrong side on th' FWD motor) What about the motor mounts - will they line up? Let us know if it works.

hopefully the starter can just have the wires ran to that side and as far as motor mounts go ill either ****** some off a 80's G-body with a 3.8 in it or evenbetter is the idea that those pocket rocket fieros running the series 2 supercharged motors, they just slap it all together from what they tell me it all JUST about lines up perfectly they realy havent gone into to much detail as far as the JUST about worst case i gotta do some custom fabbing but i took some welding classes out at the local college here a while back so i can do that myself
an also this camaro prolly isnt gunna be my big bad go superfast car either this is gunna be a get to work car while i try to get a 80's firebird or trans am an a BUNCH of other stuff for it including either turbo or s/c 3.8L mated to a 5 speed tranny 4th gen interior one of them ws6 style ram air hoods and a 4th gen style high rise wings an some 18" AR torque thrust 2's gotta talk the talk if you already walk the walk
