I haven't removed the pump itself yet, but i did get the belt for the V6's without the AC and I did notice it being faster. I dunno if I'll fully remove my AC or not.

I had thought about that too, but since I plan living further south, and having a hartop and dark interior, I think I'll hang on to the AC.

I hate the way it clutters up the engine bay. Plus, it seems to be an inefficient design. I have seen aftermarket systems that are much smaller, take up less space, and provide cool air just as long.

Also, I don't know about all of you folks, but for 95% of the sissies that live here in AZ, a nice $4000 car with A/C will lose $2000-3000 in value with the A/C removed... I'm not touching my AC compressors

AZ, geez, in your case it is mandatory unless you enjoy the cooking in your own juices in a 120 degree oven that is your car on a blistering hot day.

Id keep the A/C. I removed it on my T/A only because it didnt work and the car isnt a driver. It unclutters the engine bay, but the 40 lbs you save I dont think is worth it. And the power it robs has to be minimal. I havent done any back to back comparisons with and without cause I did valve springs and an intake manifold at the same time as I removed the A/C. The only thing A/C removal did besides was make getting belts a nightmare. I went 5 times to the store before I got 3 different ones and brought the other 2 back.
