need help

I have a 92' bird with the 3.1. The car will not start again. Last month the car would not start. I replace the pick-up coil, coil, cap, rotor and plugs. The car started good. Although i had a erratic idle. Top speed was good but upon stopping the car wanted to stall. Today I replaced the y-pipe and after I was done the car would not start. The plugs are wet with gas. I am thinking ecm. Anybody have any ideas.

Did you re-use the original O2 sensor? Chances are you busted it taking it out..they're insanely sensitive. But a bad O2 sensor won't cause anything as severe as wetted plugs....

Erratic idle indicates problem other than ECM I believe....I highly doubt the ECM would display any symptoms of going out. It's either a works or doesn't thing...

I WAS going to say check your fuel filter...until you said you've got wetted plugs...

Maybe you've got some busted fuel injectors... Are ALL of your plugs wet the same?

ALSO....erratic idle + stalling upon decelleration sounds like an IAC valve problem. Remove and clean it...or if you wanna be 110% sure, replace it.. They're a little on the steeper side though, about $30 last I checked. All it takes is some carb cleaner to clean it..just be careful to keep the carb cleaner out of your intake. CARB cleaner + fuel injection do NOT mix!
