when i did my motor swap...and put my headers on...the smog pump would not fit. i took the two bolts out of the back and pulled the stuff off back there (no egr to hook it to anyways) and plugged in the connector and tied it up. the 'pump' is there just for the pulley but now doesn't actually do anything. is the computer getting a bad reading because of this? what reading is 'good' or 'normal' for it? does this in any way affect performance? any info would be great! thanks! (and no, no engine light is on)
