Well, I finally tracked down...
The book V6 Performance by Pat Ganahl (sp?). I had two old Borders book cards in my wallet and figured I would get it. Just an FYI-- this book is out of print so Borders had to track down a used copy. Chances are, classic Industries will not have it (even though it's shown in their catalog).
The first chapter deals with the 60* V6. However, I did not realize the book was as old as it is. They are talking about this motor being installed in the "new" camaro (1982) LOL. As I read it, I will keep the board advised of anything that may peak our interest.

the best upgrade to make is a hop up to the ho 660
parts-bigre valves, cam, and flat top pistons which raise compression. This is what are engines are ho versions of the original.

the top two pictures are of a blown 2.8L in a 1980 phoenix the blower is a 4-71 gmc. 14 pounds of boast running 13 second 1/4 miles. the third is a engine from an s-10 pushing 220 horses witha super T-10 4 speed.
